| Ready to learn a cool card trick that will fool your friends? Here we go! |
Description: You have someone deal cards on to the table, allowing them to stop whenever they like. They look at the card
they stopped at, then set the rest of the cards on top. THEN, you ask them to deal cards onto the table again, only this time,
you tell them when to stop. When you do, the card they turn over is their card! The whole time they have the cards in their
hands!

Setup: Make sure that the deck only contains one Joker. Place this on the
bottom of the deck. This is done secretly. Now you can shuffle the cards a
few times before handing the deck to the spectator. If you are careful, the
Joker will stay on the bottom as you shuffle.

Performing: Hand the deck to a spectator. Ask him to deal cards face down onto the table, one on top of the other. Express
that he can deal as many cards as he likes and that he is to stop when he feels like it.

Notes: The use of the Joker is certainly not mandatory. You can use any card as long as you can remember it. In fact, a better
method would be to shuffle the deck fairly a few times first. Once finished, hand the deck to the spectator and look at the

will be his. You've just found a selected card while the deck was in someone

What actually happend is that the Joker (from the bottom) was placed on top of the selected card. This is called a "Key
Card" and will help you find the selected card in a moment. If you were to spread the cards, you would see the Joker one
card to the left of the selected card.
